As part of the Nevada Museum of Art’s Tilting the Basin exhibition, I will be posting a sunrise each morning throughout the duration (August 5 to October 23). You can check out the slideshow in the Museum’s gallery as images get added or follow me on Instagram at @megatrontron. The exhibition features the work of 26 artists living and working in Nevada. In early June, I spent two weeks out in the Black Rock Desert High Rock Canyon National Conservation Area as an artist in residence for the BLM and Friends of High Rock Black Rock. I’m working on a new body of work from my time out there that will be featured in an exhibition in October. Details to come!

The Arctic was incredible! I've started sorting through images and here is one that I've made for my Hatchfund supporters. I'll be working on new art made from my trip in the next few months and will be speaking about it at the Nevada Museum of Art in January.

My collaborative project with Jared Stanley, The Aeolian Marsh, is featured as part of Curating the Cosmos, a collection of artworks brought together in response to, and in conjunction with, a paper session titled Curating the Cosmos organized by Professor Deborah Dixon as part of the 2013 annual conference of the Association of American Geographers held in Los Angeles. The projects for the site were curated by Elizabeth Straughan, Philip J. Nicholson (University of Glasgow) and Eric Magrane (University of Arizona).
